This adorable mid-century A-Frame home on Ariola Drive on Pensacola Beach has been completely remodeled for your perfect island getaway. All modern furnishings with a feel of simplicity and luxury will make this the most memorable vacation yet. The charming details throughout the house include a central spiral staircase that leads to the second floor and ergonomic stairs that lead to a 3rd floor loft that has its own bathroom and deck!

Want to walk on the beach, go for a swim, sit and read a book while listening to the waves? You can do it all here. The beach is located right across Ariola Dr. with convenient boardwalk access.

The fully-stocked kitchen is a chef's dream, with all new stainless steel, top-grade appliances. The kitchen has two bars with seating, and a table with seating for 12.

There are picnic tables on the front porch with wonderful views of the Gulf and on the back deck with views of the Bay, as well as a propane grill on site for your use. Start your morning with coffee on any of the 3 large decks watching the sunrise, and end the day with a cool drink as you watch the sunset!

This house is in such a great location on the island, you don’t even need a car during your stay, as the (Free) Pensacola Beach Trolley stop is on the same block. The trolley can take you to find new favorite places for dining, shopping, and entertainment such as: The Boardwalk, the Pier, Casino Beach and the Pavilion.

This house has something for everyone! After you've had enough of the sun and sand, you'll have private space to relax.

The layout:

The ground floor has 3 bedrooms (including the master), 2 full bathrooms and a living room.

The master bedroom sleeps 5 with 1 queen, 1 twin, and 1 bunkbed - and includes a full bath.

The front bedroom sleeps 4 with 2 queen beds.

The back bedroom sleeps 6 with 2 queen beds and a twin bunkbed.

The second full bath on the ground floor is shared.

The 2nd Floor has an open floor plan and includes the kitchen, dining room and living room with front and back decks with views of the Gulf and the Bay. Even the laundry room has a great view and brand new appliances! The laundry room also has a second refrigerator and a half bath.

The 3rd floor Loft also has views of the Gulf and the Bay and can sleep up to 5 with 4 twin beds and 1 double bed. It includes a full bath with access to the 3rd floor deck that overlooks the gulf. It is a favorite location.

The driveway is long and wide, and it can easily accommodate up to 10 vehicles.

We had a great time at Pelican Perch!! It is so much roomier inside than it "looks". It was the perfect house for our moms and daughters trip. The decks... just awesome!!! TONS of parking space. The views are great. The multiple beds/bunks/bed styles and arrangement of rooms makes it perfect for groups and multiple families and kids. Plenty of bathrooms for everyone. Tons of hooks for wet suits and towels. The kitchen is SUPER well stocked and it is quite nice to find extras that usually get thrown away from previous guests -like salt and pepper!! Its so convenient to have 2 fridges!! Laundry room (huge) is great and there are beach towels to use which is nice as well. The kitchen table is large and so fun and easy to gather for meals and games. There are blankets around to use on sofas and beds. We had no issues at all with temperature control or anything else working in the home. House was totally clean and comfortable. Upscale appliances. The decor is cute, fun and beachy. The book about the families heart,soul and hard work that went into this house is amazing and so cool to see. They did an incredible job. This house is absolutely AMAZING and Monica the owner is even more AMAZING! We were looking for a beach house option to hold our small wedding reception and this was the perfect place! The public beach access point is directly across the street making it extremely close and convenient. We held our wedding ceremony on the public beach and used the wood walkway as the perfect ceremony entrance! The reception was held in the large paved driveway area. We had about 50 guests fit comfortably with lots of extra room! We even rented a tent that fit amazingly in the space. The home had 3 bedrooms on the first floor and one on the third floor. These rooms all came with cute/beachy decorations and were immaculately clean when we arrived. The second floor was the perfect hang out area with a large kitchen (separate ice machine!) and large living room with amazing water views. The decks...can't say enough about how wonderful they are! They've since been rebuilt and made larger from the pictures posted on this site. Thank you so much for allowing us to have our wedding at your home. It is truly a spot we will remember forever! We felt so blessed to have the beach be such a short walk away....especially when we watched so many have to drive and park their cars just to enjoy the waves. Our mornings were spent sipping coffee on the deck while taking in the sights and sounds of the ocean. Our evenings, on the patio enjoying dinner together. There is so much about this home to love! The spacious rooms were ideal for our large family. The children found puzzles to play and books to read. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make our meals each night. The beds were cozy and decorated with the sweetest sheets and quilts. Bathrooms were plenty! Best of all was that Monica was ready and available to answer any questions we had! My Happy Place

My family and I had a wonderful vacation while staying at The Pelican Perch during the July 4th holiday/week. The house is surprisingly larger than you would think with plenty of spacious rooms. My grandchildren played on the new 2nd floor deck for hours - it makes a perfect playpen. Then a very quick walk over the boardwalk and you are at the beautiful beach....

What a fun house! My whole (extended) family loves to come here every chance we get. We couldn't have been more pleased with our home for the week. But more impressive than the house, was the excellent response and customer service we received while there. I felt a bit like a high-maintenance client with several of the questions we had, and at the last minute we decided we wanted to order pay-per-view. The owners were quick to respond, incredibly helpful and a pleasure to deal with all week. We polled our exhausted swimmers at the end of the week about their experience, and they all want to come back to the Pelican (as they called it) next year. Thank you for giving my family and I a beautiful place to make memories together. Memories that will certainly last a lifetime. We all loved your home and the cottage feel that it has. Pensacola has definitely stolen our hearts. This was our first time in a beach house with the whole family. We usually stay in a condominium and constantly battle the lines at the elevator. Even loading and unloading our vehicles can be such a hassle. We didn't have to stress over any of that this beach trip and it was wonderful! The walk to the beach was an easy access and my grand babies loved playing in the sand, hunting for crabs and if they could have I believe they would have taken all of the sea shells off of the beach and brought them right back home. They had the neatest experience while swimming in the ocean one day. A family of dolphins swam by, not too far from them. One of my grand daughters wants to be a dolphin trainer when she grows up so she really loved seeing them! As I said before, we all loved your home but I think one of our favorite places was the balcony off of the kitchen/living room area. We would all gather there, especially at night just to fellowship and reminisce about days ago. Thank you so much for creating such an inviting atmosphere for us. Completely redone home practically on the beach

My wife and I took my 80-year-old mom along with her four of her grandchildren to the beach. Our kids ages are 24, 20, 14 and 10. The space was more than accommodating and easily sleeps over 20. It easily has four different outdoor spaces. The kitchen is wonderful along with its massive family space. Everything is brand-new inside and clean. I cannot recommend it...

I came to Pensacola to get married June 4th 2016. The hotel accommodations we had set up for us and our families and our bridal party did not work out due to the lack of professionalism and organization on the hotels part. So my Now wife and I searched on VRBO and found a house that slept 19 and was in the perfect location for us. We called and text Monica around 10:00 PM. We knew it was late and honestly didn't expect to get a response but low and behold she did respond. Throughout that night and the early morning hours of June 2nd, she attentively helped my wife and I book her house for all of our bridal party and ourselves ( all the while while she was on a business trip). The house itself from the outside does not look like much and it honestly doesn't look like it can sleep 19 people, but as soon as you walk through the doors it is a thing of beauty. It's very accommodating in every aspect and its location couldn't be more perfect for what we needed and were looking for. Although a little pricier than others, it's well worth it for what they provide. Troy and Monica both were very responsive with us before, during, and after our stay at their place. It's a quirky building we'd always referred to as the "Weinerschnitzel House" because of its shape, but it is surprisingly roomy and bright inside. (We were amazed, in fact.) The Koenig Gang has been vacationing at Pensacola Beach, FL for the past 50 years, and we were finally able to acquire our own piece of the beach. We grew up at the original Pelican Perch down the street which eventually succumbed to hurricanes. We proudly present Pelican Perch II purchased in 2015, brought to you by the Koenig Gang Brethren (affectionately referred to as the KGB). We hope you enjoy our house as much as we do!
